Hiring Committee

Who is on the committee

The names of the people on the committee are not available to the public.  This is to avoid any pressure being placed on members of the committee to hire particular candidates (this would be bad, as they would likely have to recuse themselves for those cases, meaning we would have to select a substitute member to consider those candidates' cases).

 

Duties

The hiring committee is responsible for selecting candidates to offer positions at LCA.  This committee will not be active in the near future, since the faculty lineup for 2009-2010 has already been decided.
