Las Cruces Academy

Mrs. Mary McDonald is one of the main supporters of, and donors to, Las Cruces Academy. She has found, purchased and delivered thousands of books for the library, both for the students to read and the teachers to use as resources. She has also donated educational games and manipulatives. Mary does a fabulous job of this because as a retired elementary school teacher she has years of experience, knowing what students enjoy and what they are capable of reading. She has personal experience with gifted students, being the mother of one, and the grandmother of two very young children who show signs of being gifted.
