Chinese Videos
Learning Chinese
is an activity for all students every day, in levels appropriate to their experience in our school. Students perform in class, at the book fairs, and at school dinners. Here is a selection of videos:
Rapid recognition of characters
Young students see how fast they can say the Han character on each flash card put out by teacher Mei Dai.

Here is a series of stand-up recitations and songs, in Mandarin Chinese by new students at the Las Cruces Academy, in their first year of studying Mandarin Chinese. The recitations and songs have the Chinese titles 方向歌; 鱼; 马; 羊; 一天;白天晚上; 手套;两只耳朵; 当我们同在一起; 世上只有妈妈好; 春天在哪里?. The last one is, in English, Where is Spring?
