25 October 2018: Fast progress in high-quality math. Teacher Kelly Lin toted up a new book order for all our math classes. Our students are progressing so fast through the Singapore Math books that we’ve had to order more books even in the middle of this first semester.
We have always used Singapore Math, the world-leading method. Students learn faster and retain math knowledge and skills better than with other methods. At the LCA, we hold the students to high grades before they can advance to the next year of their math workbooks. The majority of our students are now pushing ahead fast, exceeding one grade level of Singapore Math per year; some are exceeding two grade levels per year. Good work, students!
