Changed date and time: Chinese New Year, Saturday, February 17th, 2-6 PM. Venue: NMSU’s Corbett Center. Our students will be singing in Mandarin Chinese and dancing. Our students are busy practicing their performance. Our program in Mandarin Chinese that has run the whole life of our school gives our students from kindergarten through 8th grade a real appreciation for language, culture, and customs. If you’ve registered, on the 17th check in at the Corbett Center Lobby for an event package, which includes meal tickets for you and for others for whom you registered. The lobby will have exhibits of Chinese culture. Performances will be on the Corbett Outdoor Stage.
The 2018 Chinese New Year Fair is hosted by Chinese Students and Scholars Association at NMSU (NMSU-CSSA) and the New Mexico State University Confucius Institute (NMSU-CI).
