Our signature fundraiser and community event, Food for Thought, is coming up on Wednesday, May 30th 6:00-8:30 PM. It’s an evening of scintillating discussion with 10 engaging people from the community, augmented with a full dinner, wine, coffee, tea, dessert, and a silent auction. Guests buy tickets for $50 each and choose at which table they’ll sit for the evening. At each table is one discussion leader, who kicks off the discussion and then brings in all the guests at the table to question and comment. It’s always a fun evening, and an enlightening one. The event is good not just for us, the LCA, but also for the greater Las Cruces community, to see the depth and breadth of what’s happening her and the good people of the area who help make it happen.
The pitch on this page: Help us find those really interesting people, to be this year’s discussion leaders. Tell us whom you think are good prospects.
