Maker’s time for students

A Tuesday activity – makers’ time with our Head of School, Dr. Lou Ellen Kay (who has made amazing furniture, herself). Students pick what they want to make, as a potentially durable object – perhaps a patterned lampshade of an interesting shape. Here some students are using paper as the basic material. It’s a school-wide activity, and it complements the engineering club that meets after school, run by teacher Elizabeth Brasher and several parent volunteers.
