Tuesday, 9 May 2017. Another open house – a great opportunity to see what the LCA does for students. From 8:30 to 10 AM, you can watch classes in Chinese and in grades early K through 2 (grades 3-8 have other activities), talk with teachers, and view the facilities. In the afternoon, 5:30-7:00, you can speak with teachers and view the classrooms. Our latest addition for students is a ping-pong table, provided by the Gard family and our school funds. It’s a big hit and a fine way to hone hand-eye coordination and strategy. We have many activities coming up soon, including the end-of-term performances by students and our signature annual event, Food for Thought; there are or will be separate listings for these events.
We welcome families considering enrolling their children, as well as others who wish to see what we do in the community. You can just show up; no appointment is necessary. We are a private school serving academically advanced or motivated students; classes are small, teachers are highly qualified and we provide a stimulating, supportive environment.
