Spring semester 2022. Students in grades 3-8 each created their own books about the Solar System – our Sun, Moon, and planets. Distilling their learning over the semester, they illustrated each celestial body and wrote many telling facts about each, in fine cursive.
March 2, 2022. Teacher Katie Bushma engaged our 8 kindergarten students in creating art. They get a full and enjoyable program of handwriting, reading, spelling, math, music, art, Chinese, and Spanish.
28 January 2022: The kindergarteners created art, particularly studying perspective as they drew buildings various scales and view angles. They also wrote 100 words to celebrate their 100th day of school, and for another celebration of 100 they made collages of 10 pieces of 10 snacks.
May, 2021 – Students in grades 3-8 in Ms. Elizabeth’s English class engaged their creativity in both poetry and art to make these haiku. We all appreciated seeing them posted on the wall in their classroom.
January, 2022. In preparation for the Chinese New Year, students drew the animals in the Chinese zodiac. Our wonderful teacher Yulin Zhang gave guidance.
