David Legare and Lora Jackson Legare
…will be discussing the cultural history and archaeology of this part of the American Southwest. This discussion can range from the first Paleoindian inhabitants in the region during the Pleistocene to the Mesilla Valley during the twentieth century. David is the Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks archaeologist for the US Bureau of Land Management. Lora is a principal investigator and archaeological editor for a local environmental company and teaches anthropology at Doña Ana Community College.
