Our public outreach grows

Our outreach to the public keeps rolling.  On community radio, KTAL LP FM, Vince Gutschick brings in the concepts and the amazing linkages among the sciences and among science with technology and society.  It’s on every Tuesday, noon to 1 PM.  The latest show covered how Einstein’s theory of relativity is crucial to the GPS navigation system, what conditions favor (or much disfavor) life on a newly discovered planet around the Sun’s nearest neighbor star, the incredible strength (and biohazard) or carbon nanotubes, ice cream for the ancient pharaohs, why Mars travelers should be vegans, and more.  Vince puts all his shows up as videos on YouTube, his channel being vince5305.
